Aastha is a recent design graduate from NIFT, Gandhinagar in Accessory Design. She is a Visual Designer and Researcher, working towards building incremental changes for an inclusive future. Over the course of her education, she has transitioned as a designer from a market driven industrial practice to a community led participatory process. Aastha’s work explores systems and institutions using art and design as tools to drive change and document the multifarious lives of people.

She believes that designers, as makers of culture, should exercise their agency for envisioning a better future benefiting people at large. She through her practice engages with craft communities, circular fashion practices and humanitarian services.  Currently practicing in India, her works are a part of projects built under various design agencies and studios of the country.
