Els Beusen founded Applied Arts Studio in 2015. She creates contemporary textile designs by revisiting traditional techniques, incorporating them into durable design strategies on creative projects for the fashion and textile industry. The studio’s design practice is characterised by an idealistic view on social, economical and environmental wellbeing. Inspiring other companies and designers with animating concepts and invigorating designs along our way. Currently she develops products, created with sustainable textiles applying natural dyeing techniques.
