Nita and Surendra ran a successful company in Amsterdam in Indian textiles and home accessories, Imeba BV. They started with a shop in heart of the city and slowly grew into a wholesale company. Nita Bansal designed products apt for the Dutch market, whereas Surendra Bansal was in charge of marketing and sales. They developed products for customers such as Bijenkorf, Pols Potten, moooi, Piet Boon, but also supplied to Douwe Egberts, Trendhopper and Otak. They also had their own line of products which they sold via the Jaarbeurs Utrecht to boutiques across the Netherlands.
Now they advise Textiel Factorij.
