Eline Groeneweg | Studio Bhatt

Eline is an India-based Dutch designer. At Studio Bhatt, she takes an investigative approach to work. She asks herself how her work as a designer relates to daily life in her host country, India. By placing traditional local practices – from the mundane custom of re-using a piece of cloth to the most skilful textile crafts– in a broader research context, she aims to develop new perspectives on socio-cultural and ecological issues.

For the Textiel Factorij she made 1982-163 Revisited and 006200 Revisited in collaboration with Kirit Chitara.
